Why not? They have a 19 and under category for most races and even triathlons. I think teenagers are not in any danger from training for marathons. Small children (like 5yo) may develop problems as they are still developing at such a rate. They can run into enlarged heart and other physical problems but if they are under trained guidence I see no problem.
I swam 2 very rigorous, 2 hour swim practices a day as a child and early teen and can only see benifit from it now. My body developed very strong, large muscles and I think it helps me to stay in shape even now being 30. Im glad I did it.

If they are in the proper condition to do so then yes.
For anyone who wants to run a marathon, it requires extensive training.

yes teenagers should be able to run a marathon unless there is a medical reason that they are unable to do so.

yes, teenagers are getting really fat cuz of all that junk they're eating.. I'm a teenager myself and i try to work out a lot and eat healthy cuz i dont want to be one of the people in my generations that dies before my parents

if its for a good cause of course u should let them run! everyone should be allowed to contribute to some thing no matter how old they are.
