I have heard that deer and wild game move according to the cycles of the moon. Hunting may be better during a full moon than at any other time. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this true? Does it really work?

I firmly believe that all wildlife activity coincides with the moon's cycle's. My best hunting and fishing experiences have all occurred within three days before or three days after a full moon, as well as during the full moon. By the way, don't pay any attention to those uneducated, ignorant anti's that say we are sick for doing what we do. We provide our own meat that contains no preservatives, and we do it more humanely than any slaughterhouse.

sort of, it's like the way the moon has an affect on the water tides of all bodies of water. A deer will stay only is select areas and only will out of it during a full moon if it feels threatened. As will other wild game too. Most wild game and deer are basically nocturnal. but the full moon does give off a magnetic aura that affects them as to how the respond to the world around them. go camping with going hunting and watch the gmae during a full moon cycle and during and new moon phase. you'll see a big difference in their actions.

Well.. I Think.. Sure the moon has a lot to do with hunting deer. Like.. if it's a full moon, or not cloudy at night, deer can feed during the night and bed down during the day. So if there is no moon or it's overcast all night the animals have to feed during the day. Which makes them easier to find. When hunting season opens, believe me... the deer know it.
