Basicly I want a rifle that is accurate and that will beable to mount a scope on it. Big enough to hunt with. Also a gun that i can find cheap ammo for. any suggestions would be great.

I know this might sound wierd but my friend keeps telling me to get an ak47. I would not mind. but can i mount a scope and is it a big enough round to hunt with?

Shooting pigs is big in Australia. A lot of them about ripping up the bush. Blokes with chiller vans tour the countryside buying up carcusses for the German meat markets. Wild pig is popular there you know. So if one was to shoot pigs for money, what would be the best rifle for the job?
