Check with the local wildlife service in MN. They can tell exactly why the fish are dying and if you should be concerned.

Most likely they were fish that had been caught by kids fishing from shore and they were thrown back after being injured. I've seen this at Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet as well as Lake Nokomis in Mpls.

I stay contained in the Yukon Territory, the place the water is quite, very sparkling. you may drink out of streams and rivers. in spite of the undeniable fact that, the water is likewise very, very chilly! there continues to be approximately 2-3' of ice on the Yukon River as I write this, so, swimming is relatively no longer a controversy for an prolonged time yet! in certainty, i in my view basically choose to swim in heat water, and that i've got in no way swum up right here different than in swimming pools. yet, even contained in the south; i do no longer replace my swimming behavior purely because of the fact i'm older.

Chances are that one dead fish isn't going to harm children or other people. But if there a lot of fish dead on the shore then you might want to ask the local wildlife organization about it and let them know about the problem.
Hope this helped.

No, natural selection has to happen somehow. If those kids can't see the signs, well then let nature takes its course for man's mistakes :D
