My son has been doing ballet for some time but has started wearing his tights and leotard around the street and the house.
He says he likes wearing it and doesnt care what other people say, but he likes it becuase he can do splits and leaps all over the place. It think its ok as long as he keeps practicing but worry about him wearing it outside... Or is it just me should i stop him..?

Im a sophomore in high school and I play basketball in winter so I want to do cross country this fall for school to get in shape. I'm in pretty bad shape from summer, but I'm not overweight. What are some good running or motivational tips you could offer to a beginner?

I like that he's motivated to exercise. He's no slacker when it comes to running or playing soccer or whatever. But it seems like I had heard somewhere along the line that boys that young should not be working out with weights. Can anyone point me to some facts to support or negate my first inclinication - which is to say "No - wait until you're a teen."

My daughter's soccer team has been given a goal of raising $500.00. I'd like for them to ear at least half of the money on their own. Is this unreasonable? If not what would be a good activity for them to do?

I am interested in kickboxing. What should I be looking for when I shop around for a gym/class/trainer. I am a complete beginner, mother of 2 and looking to get into shape and learn something at the same time. I would actually be interested in competing at some level if I can get into it. Any advice and input would be greatly appreciated.
