My daughter's soccer team has been given a goal of raising $500.00. I'd like for them to ear at least half of the money on their own. Is this unreasonable? If not what would be a good activity for them to do?

Selling candy bars. Going door to door when football games are on is a great way to sell the candy bars as the guys will always buy them while watching the games. (Of course, you should walk with your daughter or send an older sibling along for safety.) Candy bars do well because you already have them in hand, so people don't have to pay for them ahead of time and wait for the order to be delivered.
Many restaurants have fundraisers. You make fliers telling people when to eat at the restraint and the kids can hand them out. When people eat there, they say that they are supporting your team, and the restaurant donates part of the profit. Some of the places I know of that do this are Round Table Pizza, Baja Fresh and Souplantation. I think that this truly the easiest fundraiser you can do.
Two other good fundraisers are selling entertainment books. (I think that their website is www.entertainmentbooks.com,) and silent auctions.

It may be hard for a 7 year old but she can have a lemonade with cookies stand at a park, she can sell flowers, or she can have a bake sell. If she does any of that she should buy it for a cheap cost and make the prices higher. When I was 7 years old I had a bake sell at a park. I sold cookies, cup cakes, and candy. If she doesn't raise the money have every one pich in. But $250 is too much for a 7 year old.

Kids love to bake and most people love sweets. You can always have a sleep over and let them help bake. Then they can set up a table with the baked goods in a safe public place with adult supervision, and sell their goodies.
