Try out! LOL You should be able to do backbends, flips/handsprings, cartwheels, roundoffs, etc.

Standing Backhandspring is usually the basic skill you need to get onto the team; if your school's squad is competitive.
If your squad is not competitive, just a great attitude and ability to accept constructive criticism should do the trick... and having a good memory.

Mine is hard to get on to, but I kno that you have to be able to tumble. You have to know how to do stunts. How to tumble and they perfer having some cheering experience. Just try out and do your best. Good Luck. Remember to SMILE they love that...
