I'm known for my brutally down to earth, realistic, good old fashion hard core training, and none of that 10 years old black belt, too deadly to spar, "train 10 second a day 5 days a week and turn into a a55 kicker" crap! So I have been getting two or three hate emails a week.

So I decide to make a thread to let all those hater cry it all out and express their anger at me here. So please don't hesistate to tell me how much you hate me and how your Aikido, Tai Chi, or whatever blackbelt you own since you were in your daddy's nuts sack will kick my ***.

So cmon let it all out so I don't need to deal with anymore hate email!

I have a tournament at my dojo tommorow. I've decided to do kata(forms) and kumite (fighting). One of my instructors, who spends tons of time helping me has noticed a small problem in my katas: I'm TOO strong... he says that I need to use more HIPS and less shoulder. I need advice on some excercises or something I can do to improve my kata. Also for fighting, I'm a girl (on my brothers account..dont freak out) 5'3 amd 115 pounds...the person im going against is pre chosen: 6'3 and 195 pounds...how do I win? Stay in close with speed and rapid punches or stay far out and kick constantly?

I once saw it in a documentatry called "The World's 10 Most Deadliest Martial Arts" (or something likes that... it was a long time ago!) on The Learning Channel. They showed men and women taking the nastiest hits in all kinds of places without any ill effects.
Unfortunately, I can't find anything about the MA itself, or the documentary on which it was featured. So if you can tell me its name, I'd be just ever so thankful.
P.S. I'm writing a fanfic, in which I'll use this info. If you help me out, I'll let you be the first to read it!

I am training in Ju-jitsu and Mauy Tai and I find that taking someone to the ground is harder than it looks. I want something else to accent these styles with throws and takedowns what would be the best one?

I can't find a video that doesn't look like a dance. Is there one out there that has 2 people trying Aikido on each other in some sort of match. Not just one guy running at the other one with his arms out and getting thrown around. Or is it supposed to be a dance type thing.

I am not interested in getting a degree in Asian Culture and History. I just want to learn how to most efficiently inflict damage to a human body. In a street-fight situation, which training would best help me to survive?

Unfortunately, I live in a rough part of town and though I don't intend to pick a fight with anyone, I may have to defend myself from attack. Also, which fighting style is best when attacked by more than one person simultaneously?

By the way, I am quite fit but have never trained in anything. I don't even know how to throw a punch properly - so I want to learn quickly without all the "spiritual" crap thrown in.

I have been wondering, is there any particular reasons why practitioners of martial arts wear specific uniforms. The Tae Kwon Do and Karate ones are very similar is there any meaning behind them? And what about the loose fitting silk uniforms for Tai Chi Chuan, is there some meaning or is it merely to practice with? Please no answers such as "Who cares" I am looking for input from other Martial Artists and/or Martial Arts enthusiasts. So many things in the world of Martial Arts represent something, is it the same with the uniforms?

Could bulk alone help? Or would a limber strong man have a better advantage. You always see bouncers at clubs and they have the bulky look. But would a small extremely strong man also do a good job with manhandling folks if he had to?

I liked the old format with new guys trying to make it big in the UFC. I've seen all these guys before and most of them don't have a hope in hell of winning a title.
