I'm seeing all these Korean Martial Arts like Moo Gong Do and Yun Jung Do and Oom Yung Doe being advertised. Then I look them up on Wikipedia and can't find any mention of them.

It seems to me that any Korean guy can just create his own Martial Arts and declare himself a Grandmaster.

Why are Korean Martial Arts so easy to fabricate?

Here i am with another martial arts question! Is there any point to these breathing, shreeking sounds? Do they help, is it just for show or a natural body reaction?
I find i prefer to just keep quiet!

Ninjas, do (did) they exist? I really don't care, but here is my question. the title of ninja. If they ever did exist was this title given to anyone who studied ninjistu, was it only given to teh masters, or only given to those who have killed (as part of a mission given to the ninja clan of whatever)? that is my question.

I thought I'd be washed up and rusty. I thought I'd lose. I was just as fast as ever, every move fell into place. I feel faster and stonger. But my stamina is alot lower. After 5 years, with no work outs, can I be faster and stronger? How did I keep the same speed? Why did my stamina drop in everything else is OK? My skills were even better, in relation to my older age. I adapted and was never taught how. How did this all happen? I used submissions alot. What is the best way to either train for stamina, or fight around the lack of it? I know this is a broad question. Say whatever you like.

I understand its about technique.but if someone worked out like a motherf****er, gained mass, muscle and (naturally) became stronger, would'nt they perform better, balance easier(due to great lower bodystrength) and hit harder than someone with good technique.I ask because I took time off of a martial arts school for this reason (im obviously slim).

Do you fell that you are getting dumber the more you get hit in the head? I know boxers get dumber, but they do nothing but get hit in the head, and loose brain cells. So do you think its worth it to fight or if you could go back would you choose not to start fighting. I am in training and am looking at fighting in a few months, and if I do this I am doing it all out, so I just want to hear from some veteran fighters if its worth it or not. I love the sport, but I dont want to end up like one of these old fighters that dont know where they are half the time. Thank You

Me and my main training partner need head gear that has a mask and will protect us against full contact punches to the head, (without boxing gloves) We arent very concerned with protecting our hands in case anyone's wondering, we just need head gear that has a mask and provides serious protection against devastating force.

If anyone knows any site that I can order some good head gear at that would be much appreciated. We have adequate protection for everything but our heads.

Thank you very much for providing answers.

I had to drop out of martial arts classes a few weeks ago due to back/joint problems. The thing is, up to now, I have made significant advances in my ability during my rest period! This phenomenon is not new to me as I am an accomplished musician who went through the same thing with musical training but now I want to take up the training again as I am starting to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. What should I do?

particular have always acted like they don't want to be bothered with me. They usually stand at the far left at the front of class. I just find a spot wherever. The last couple days I've been standing near the far left up front. Now they've moved to the far RIGHT - even when there's space near me and we're the same belt rank! Also, I usually practice my forms etc after class in the next room. I've asked them if they'd like to join. Now they've started practicing after class too but totally ignore me and won't ask if I want to join. I don't need to be asked. But they'll all ask each other, "Wanna practice our katas?" It's like they're ignoring me! I don't know why. I'm nice to them. Could it be a race thing? I'm black/they're white. Are people still THIS petty?

Its 3 Types Of Jujistal Types Combined In one Superpower Form also Combined With Kung Fu ,
Karate ,Boxing with gymnastic . The Form Is not that popular they have one dojo in Chicago but it is in fact the most deadlest .For thier Striking Is Superior to any other form .Thier Grappling is Superior . Plus Evertime they go to kararte tournemeants they infact crush thier ribs apart.
And Make them Give Up with Sumbiting skillz .
But the grandmaster said he dosent care about tournemeants he cares about if his students are protected in the real world.

The students behave greatly and does not focus on tournameant such as karate buts care if the student are protected in the real world. As far as i can see they have not one weakness so i ask is this the best form of martial arts?

No one can beat him. Not even Chuck Liddell.

There seems to be so many misconceptions about this man and his history in the martial arts world. I never cared for Chuck Norris until I met my husband and learned more about martial arts in general. I agree he is a terrible actor, but I do not understand the jokes and the lack of respect for his talent and the recognition he brought to martial arts in the US.

If you look at Liddell's fight record...its virtually a list of all-stars... and he's beat them all, and by knockout mostly!
Renato Sobral (twice) Vitor Belfort Kevin Randleman
Jeremy Horn Murilo Bustamante
Randy Couture (twice) Guy Mezger

These are'nt cream cuffs he beat.
Maybe Wanderlei Silva can beat him?
