Me and my main training partner need head gear that has a mask and will protect us against full contact punches to the head, (without boxing gloves) We arent very concerned with protecting our hands in case anyone's wondering, we just need head gear that has a mask and provides serious protection against devastating force.

If anyone knows any site that I can order some good head gear at that would be much appreciated. We have adequate protection for everything but our heads.

Thank you very much for providing answers.

That link can give you exactly what you need, fairtex gear is rock solid.

That being said, definately spar with gloves. Regardless of the headgear you will easily cut each other and break knuckles on the exposed areas of the face. Including breaking orbital bones, and even each other's wrist.

I would at the very least reccomend 4oz MMA gloves, they provide your hands with some protection and I would wrap up too, that way minimize damage to your wrists when a punch glances off.

And of course mouthguards, even with full padding you can easily knock out each others teeth.

So check out the fairtex site, I linked you directly to their headgear section, and think about doing some minimal protection for your hands. Not only will it save your hands but it will save you from opening cuts on each other and breaking facial bones. So put on some wraps and some sort of gloves, because your head needs that as well.

Hope that is of some help.
