Why are so many people thinking Liddell will walk over Silva?

Because most of the American MMA fans are ignorant, bias UFC "nutthuggers" who don't even know who Wanderlei Silva is.
I personally really don't like this man, because, even though very aggressive, MMA is a sport and Silva's behavior in and out of the ring is anything but sportsman like.
But regardless of this statement he is far more complete fighter than Chuck Liddell will ever be and if they do fight someday I think that Silva will beat him without any problems.
Physically he's stronger, his stand up is better (Silva was able to strike with Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic and Mark Hunt, the best two kickboxers in MMA world and give them both a war and so far the best striker Liddell fought was Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and he got crushed in that match. Silva on the other hand faced Rampage on two occasions and knocked him out both times) and his ground skills are far more advanced. Chuck's wrestling is probably his only advantage here but in this match I don't think that it would make any difference. In the end I think that Silva would knock him out within 2 rounds.

I don't. I like Chuck, but I think Wanderlei's an awesome fighter. Wanderlei will end up winning that fight. Who else has fought multiple times during 4 years (with all the competitiors being note-worthy) without loosing?
