USA is taking advantage of FIFA's regulations for Qualification into the World Cup. USA plays against countries like Trinidad-Tobago, Guatamela, Jamaica, Coasta Rica, Panama for the world cup qualifying rounds!!! Any country can play against these islands and can qualify. In fact, the most disgraceful thing is all of these countries except for Guatemala played in this world cup whereas none of these countries/islands deserve to be in the WC which is the place only for the best teams in the world. In Europe and South America, there are countries that are far better than USA and can beat USA by 10-nil but unfortunately, they don’t get the chance to qualify. The same thing goes for Africa as well. Nigeria and Cameroon could not qualify for 2006 because they didn’t come in the top four which again shows the depth of strong footballing nations there are in Africa. And most of these African nations are 100 times better than US Team. If USA was to put in World Cup qualifying games against European countries or African countries, they never would have made it to the world cup. I think FIFA needs to look into this issue so that only the better footballing nations qualify into the World Cup. If FIFA does not look into this matter, it will be gross injustice to European, African, South American and Asian countries that have produced great players over the years and have shown real passion for football. It will be shame for World Cup itself if USA keeps getting “free pass” to the biggest and most spectacular tournament on earth. And I prefer replies from those who are not from USA.. And if you are an American, use the term “football,” not “soccer.”

After the shootout win in Germany, the Italian players went wild celebrating. On at least two occasions they gathered together to sing songs (not the national anthem). On one occasion they were on the tracks in front of the fans and they were holding some flags. On the second occasion it was a slow song and they were on the field. If anyone can tell me what those songs were, I'd really appreciate it!

Okay, I have to admit that I love these questions because well, I loved watching the World Cup because I really love the sport, it's very interesting, but I also love watching the hot guys, too. And yes, I am a girl, so quit wondering, okay...

A lot of people say Cannavaro is hot, but to me, I find him quite ugly. In Italy, I would say the hottest guys are Gigi and Andrea Pirlo. So what do you think?

football has been in the USA since the 1870's and just never gotten anybetter, allot of american would say its because of american football but american football came from a mixture of football (soccer) and Rugby and a man by the name of Mr. Brown came up with the name soccer.. look at africa football hasnt been played their till the 1930's and 40's the english soldiers tought them the game football and look at were africa is now they are playing great football they are just missing the money to develope better footballers.

Okay, so they investigated the Zidane incident but not the Figo headbutt...he was only punished with a yellow card during the game? Why was the Dutch player not investigated for "instigating" that incident? FIFA has not been consistent with their investigations.

Zidane gets a three game ban, Materazzi two game ban but Figo was able to play his next match...can anyone explain that?
