Luis Felipe Scolari has taken two different teams to the World Cup semi-finals: BRAZIL in 2002 & PORTUGAL in 2006.

Previously, Guus Hiddink has also taken two teams to the World Cup semi-finals: NETHERLANDS in 1998 & KOREA REPUBLIC in 2002. both teams finished 4th in their respective finals.
