abedi pele born November 5th 1962 in Ghana is a former ghanaian footballer he was named African Footballer of the Year in 1991 , 1992 and 1993. He is arguably africa's most decorated and honourable soccer player ever. Additionally Pele ( the origianl) named him as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in march 2004

Abedi Pele is from Ghana...At a young age his talent for football was very remarkable.In the 90's he joined L'Olympique de Marseille where he became the key of the team.

i think the first guy who answered got confused...theres a pele from ghana and a pele from brasil....two way different people!

in the 70s he known as the best footballplayer in the world although maradona is trying to get better with his HAND OF GOD,it nothing for him at all to be the best.he came from the samba country Brasil,five times world champion!and known he just cant stop his mouth from complaining the youngsters in the field..
