When the referee stopped the game because Ricardo Carvalho was injured, Portugal was attacking and had the ball. When the game started again, Holland sould have given back the ball to Portugal. But, nº 14 - Heitinga - didn`t!!
Football is a game of gentlemen... Was he right to do so? Or did he lack fair play?

I heard a possible explanation of the mess in yesterday's match between Portugal & Holland :- Holland are always helped by referees in major tournaments. Believing in they could do what they liked with impunity that referrees would overlook their fouls, they started on the Portuguese stars. Ronaldo out with an injury, then Figo etc etc. Two things came into play, though or Holland might even get away with another CHEAT : (1) Maniche was recently bought by the Russians (2) Maniche scored a cracker of a goal-Russian referee decides not to favour Holland aftr all. Without referee help, they are ordinary !! Remember that portuguese players are also aware of that favouritism and so they reacted. If someone taps your face in contempt several times what will you do HEADBUTT him ? "Provocation" is a concept taken very seriously in English Law. Deco's anger ? Same reason !! Who are these guys to always be favoured by referees ? Please let's have your dispassionate views. Thanks

who do you think will win and why. I think italy will win but im supporting australia. the facts go towards italy becuase they have won many times but australia is coming on very well, they have great players and they've won respectivaly.
