I'm not from England.
I do agree .. why can't everyone enjoy a good match of football and make friends? ..

Sports is sports, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose ...
But don't ruin other people's celebration.

I'm not specifically talking about English fans, but everyone who spoils all the funs of World Cup.

I live in Germany & went to Frankfurt after the England vs Paraguay game to join in the celebrations. There were thousands of English fans there, all dancing, singing & drinking & generally celebrating & having a good time. I never saw any trouble of any sort that night, nor did I hear of any on the news. Furthermore, I haven't heard of any trouble (here in Germany) caused by the English since the start of the WM, so what are you going on about here???

Remember, just because trouble might involve the English, doesn't mean to say that it was the English who started it!! Give the guys a break - 95% of English fans are only out to watch the game & do a little honest, harmless celebrating afterwards!! Not all football hooligans are English you know!

Message for "ToT" : you're just the kind of person I'm on about here - get real will you??!!

Woke up to today's frontpage news featuring big picture of a large group of English football fans surrounded by an army of German commandoes.

News imagery like this can only serve to reinforce the wrong perception that English football fans are hooligans. It is unfortunate that the majority of genuinely well-behaved fans included in the category of drunken louts and hooligans. There seems to be no solution in sight as long as beer flows - all it need is a scuffle or a word to trigger mob violence.

English fans have always been hooligans. They want to celebrate by spoiling others fun. This has always been their nature. It can be seen in their past world conquests too. No offence meant but this is true.
