1. My prevision was Holland66%-Portugal33%. It was a mistake, the teams (in the *played* part of the match) were equivalent. Both goalkeeper had an extra-work and only Portuguese had scored, so they deserve victory.
2. Really strange to keep V.N. in bench! From the replacement with Van Der Vaarts going in, Holland showed a better playing... Maybe V.N. was injured? or in bad fitness? Only Van Basten knows... it seems its mistake. Scolari was wrong too: he need to remove Costinha before the red, he's got a yellow (wich need to be a red), and had done another critical foul wich deserved almost another yellow...
I would place a point 3:
Referee was amazing, isn't he? The worst referee i've seen in the tournament

1. Yes. I think it was a 50/50 game but Portugal played with one less player more than once in the game and still Netherlands didn`t score. Plus, they had no fair play at all. Especially when the referee stopped the game and the dutch didn`t give the ball back to Portugal. Football is a game of gentlemen and those who aren`t gentlemen shouldn`t play.
2. Who knows? However Van Basten should have put him when Costinha was expelled. It would have been the perfect time for him to come in. But, I`m glad he didn`t.
One more word as far as the referee is concerned: he sucked!! He didn`t control the players and he made some bad judgment calls. In Deco`s red card, when he stopped the game when Portugal was attacking (because of a player who was injured - he should have waited until the attack was over), and so on...

Portugals victory was not deserved. Netherlands controlled the game, but somehow, the Portugeuse were able to get that goal. The Netherlands had so many chances to score, they just couldn't put it in.
Netherlands might have been able to capitalize better if they hadhim in. They still played really well though, and they dominated the game.

It was an waful game!!! but I think Portugal was better!!!
Probably Van nistelroij would change the situation most probably because he is a strong player and I believe he fits in that game but it's easy to say that when the game is over.
The one thing I know is that I won't support Portugal now!!!
Louis Figo should be out from the game!!!

1. Yes, absolutely. The Dutch were acting like assholes the entire match, no fair play...
2. Maybe, but I don't think so.

if they deserved or not they are in quarter finals now. one player makes a lot of difference but as an outsider we only see the one player potential not the view and calculation of coach
