Who says Italy wont melt down...that's exactly what happened v the USA. Easy group..ok..whatever.
To answer your Q, we have every chance. Nothing to lose and nothing to prove and my gosh it will be the celebration that ends all celebrations. People don't seem to be able to grasp that we are proud of their achievements already and this is all one big bonus for us. If it doesn't go our way, I'm proud to know that we Aussies will still celebrate our boys performance. They will play with pride and guts and that's enough for us....
Aussies 2-1 in extra time....then the celebration begins!!!!

I don't think Brazil, Croatia & Japan are considered easy to beat!
Italy faced Czech, Ghana & oh the US team (that was close!).

Anyway, i am sorry to say but i think Italy is a better team and they are going to win. But if Aussie win then, it good. I love it when the underdog able to beat the cup contender. i will cheer for Aus.

I agree with Dr. Sammy... the only chance is to score first and early in the match. Italian nerves are throbbing. Coach Lippi last night called journalist as 'shameful' because they would to know the player's list for this match. We (italian) - they (players & coach) fear HIDDINK rather then Australian... remember south Korea 2002... and Hiddink has got really good matches against Milan when coaching PSV Eindhoven...
anyway... i think & hope Italy will go straight forward... 3-0

You idiot we didn't have an easy group!!! Number one i n the world, o yea there simple to beat.... also number 18 and nineteen, well whatever you think mate. By the way we will still lose 2-1 but i am just frustrated that you say that our group was easy. Oh and viduka will get a header.

If the Aussie goalkeeper (probably Schwarzer) can do his job then Australia are a good chance. Hopefully they won't let in another early goal.
