Exactly what jurisdiction did the feds have to prosecute this case. I don't think there is any federal law against dogfighting?

The state of Virginia, where the dogfighting occurred, does have a law against dogfighting and they do have jurisdiction to prosecute Vick. He is clearly guilty and his actions were clearly disgusting.

Does anybody know why the Feds interfered in this case instead of letting the state of Virginia handle it?

I'd sure as hell give up dogfighting. $26,000 a match if you win? What a joke. Vick is the biggest moron in the history of mankind. This should be one of history's biggest blunders.

Anyway, answering the question, it'd probably be Qdoba. I love that place.

I mean personally I would rather see him back on the football field. Yes he made a big mistake and I am a dog lovers also. But the guy has admitted guilt and apologized. Lets have him suspended from the league for a year and back on the filed next season. He is no danger to society, he could do community service and influence the youth. I'm talking 60 days in jail maximum, minimum 12 days.

Let's say that Michael Vick is convicted and spends some time in prison. Should he be allowed to play for the NFL again, after he's paid his time for the crime??

Will Ahmad Bradshaw Get into a regular season game, this season?
the Giants played Him a little during the Ravens game the other night and, I thought He looked pretty good. the experts say He is too small to be an every down back but, they said the same about Joe Morris, Dave Megett and, Tiki Barber.

That's it! All the people who supported Michael Vick, saying he was innocent should be ashamed of themselves. Vick is going to prison. But, probably for only a few years instead of the 5 year max. Do you think he will ever play football in the NFL again? Mostly lkely not. Plus, I believe he will lose alot of money in lawsuits! Vick does not deserve respect from me...and that should be for alot of people who trusted him!

I have read that Nike had a differently worded "morals" clause in their contract with Michael Vick. Did they word it differently because they had investigated him and knew there could be "issues" down the road? How thoroughly are potential spokesmen checked out before they sign to endorse a company's products?

Any chance we could get Nike to take some of their Vick profits and make a huge donation to the ASPCA so something good can come from all those poor animals that suffered at the hands of Vick and his sick friends?

How could u possibly go 2 jail for killing a dog, yet espn telecasts shows about hunting. How is it illegal to kill a dog but u can take a shotgun & blow a deer's brain out. Its ridiculous & sickening how America thinks & how they treat their dogs better than anything on earth.

I mean the fact that he brutally hacked a couple of people to death doesn't really matter. What matters is that he was one of the best football players ever! C'mon! The life of a couple of regular people is small sacrifice to maintain the image of our hero! Real life isn't what's important - SPORTS are what's important! When will all these haters realize that?
