I second that sweetie. Vick was Barry Sanders with an arm! He was my favorite player since Barry.
I'm a Redskins fan!
I luv pits also. Vick is dumb to get involved wit this and them punk a$$ lil trick friends.

I hear there is a big guy named Bubba in prison that is just crazy about Vick. Sorry that wasn't very nice. I'm a Saints fan so its a little hard for me to feel too bad for Vick though its a shame to see someone make such a wreck of his life when he should have known better. So few people will ever have the kind of opportunities that Vick had opened to him and he managed to waste it. I only hope that some good could come from it if only an example to other young people as to what they should not do, and that even the big shots of this world will eventually have to pay for their wrongs. I also hope that Vick can make something positive of this and learn from his mistakes.

Vick is an idiot, Mike and Marcus both...Mike had the league fooled into thinking he was a quarterback...although very athletic they had to throw out half the college playbook so he could run the offense, he also ran 'hot' or 'one' reads (not like the smarter quarterbacks who can read defenses and run complex offenses) and got away with it because he had good legs... hes always been a disgrace as a human...look up the 'Ron Mexico' incident, remember how he flipped off the HOME fans (a smart quarterback would never ever do that) and the hidden compartment incident... you would think he would have grown up but no...now this comes out...he has been dropping hints for a long time that he is not a leader, just another thug...now he gets what he deserves

It's a shame that such an attractive man and talented athlete is in such a serious mess. He could have done positive things with his fame and money (scholarships for poor college bound atheletes or help his community or those less fortunate), but he chose to kill and torture innocent animals and train them to be vicious killers and bet on them. He is horrible and should be banned for life from the NFL and all sports in general. It's a shame since so many kids looked up to him and he has turned out to be another arrogant and ignorant athlete that thought he could do whatever he wanted because of who he is. It's sad and disgusting!

YES! I do love it...I read the story when signing into my yahoo account. I Laughed out loud when I read- "That’s $12.89 as in 12 dollars and 89 cents." LOL I thought there was a typo and they meant $12.89 million for an entire month. Well, he deserves it. I personally own four pitbulls and three mixed breeds and I love them to death and WOULD NOT give them up for the world. Never mind try and fight them. I cried when I was watching "dogtown" on the National Geographic Channel. Some were tears of happiness, and some, of course, tears of sadness. It just angers me that he would do such a thing to his animals and have a nerve to own SO MANY OF THEM and just throw out his money to the public instead of spoiling his beautiful dogs or donating the money to the Humane Society. we would all love him for that, wouldn't we? EDIT- It also angers me that he is getting out in JULY 20th! I think it would be great if he would come out in 2093

Your Brothers, are right. I think You're leaning more toward physical attraction than, talent. He isn't a great player but, an exciting player. two different things. He has talent but, its too one dimensional. RUN. maybe after He rest's for a couple of seasons, He can come back with a new perspective and, start spreading the ball around better.

Sorry to hear that you love Vick. Vick has obviously admitted he is guilty. And he's not even a good football player. I hope you enjoyed seeing him play. Because I doubt you'll ever see him again.

I give you credit for your courage, to state how you feel. I disagree with your view, but that is also my right. He was once an exciting person to watch on the field, but just like I can no longer watch anything with O.J Simpson without thinking about the horrible crime he committed, so it is with Micheal Vick. Maybe someday, he will see the error of his actions, but until then, I can only hope he goes away.

Me too. I have pits also. One of my dogs got into a fight with a neighbor dog (that started it) and I got bit by the other dog breaking it up. They are the human friendliest dogs there are - but will fight other dogs if provoked. Vick was an idiot to get involved with dog fighting. For him to go out and by secluded property, house, and kennel for that purpose is beyond comprehension. That is so ghetto for a guy who had over $100,000,000 coming to him. I guess that is why he wasn't a real good QB - he was too stupid for the position!

I don't think you understand the gravity of the crime. If you are a human being, it is an innate instinct to want to protect the helpless and the defenseless, such as a child or a pet. He tortured dogs for "enjoyment". That says lot about his character. He is not even a human being. Would you still be a "fan" if he raped your helpless daughter, sister, mother, grandmother ... tied up in a "rape machine" for 5 years and tortured them and drowned them to death if they didn't make him have an orgasm? Would you still "like" him?
He tortured/killed and had the DEFENSELESS dogs raped while tied up in a rape machine in his property for over 5 years. And than he lied about it to public. This is not alledged anymore. He admitted to it. Not because he had a change in heart but because if he did not admit to it, he was facing 20 to life in prison.
How can you possibly still "like" this person?
