To be fair, Grossman's all but a rookie in the NFL. He's played all of one full season with the Bears and considering that he was competent enough to take them to the Superbowl I think it would be worth the investment to keep him around.
Give him another two years or so and who knows, maybe he will develop into the quarterback that Chicago's been looking for all these years.

actually he lead the bears to the superbowl last year and a 13-3 record I believe they had. maybe 12-4.. Thats a good season.... Grossman needs to slow down and get better this year but people are being to hard on him. that was his first year as starting QB, and anyone who thinks griese is a better choice doesn't know football. Griese would in the long run do alot worse. and he sucks bad in the playoffs, bad..... He played on a couple superbowl quality Denver teams and single handidly choked playoff games away.....

He seems to have tremendous mental toughness so as long as the Bears rely on the running game I think he can develop. I wouldn't mess with last years' formula now, but if he doesn't get more consistent this year then I think the Bears should trade for another quarterback.

I am a bears fan and always have been. I admit that he was a big dissapointment last season, but it was his FIRST full season. I think another season or two of expirience will do him good. Look at Bret Favre, he sucked hard his first few seasons but now he's a future hall of famer!!
P.S. I hate the Packers

Even though it is preseason, he probably doesn't deserve to be the started. Chicago waited so long for him and it definitely wasn't worth the wait.
