That's it! All the people who supported Michael Vick, saying he was innocent should be ashamed of themselves. Vick is going to prison. But, probably for only a few years instead of the 5 year max. Do you think he will ever play football in the NFL again? Mostly lkely not. Plus, I believe he will lose alot of money in lawsuits! Vick does not deserve respect from me...and that should be for alot of people who trusted him!

It's funny how when the Vick "incident"first came out, none of us against him could pretty much post anything without being attacked by all these uneducated thugs in favor of him, calling us names and insulting non stop. NOW THAT HE PLEADED GUILTY: where are you guys??? what can you say to help"your boy" Michael "Dog Killer" Vick???? WHAT HE DID WAS WRONG, LIVE WITH IT!!!!! And don't make this a racial issue because you know it is not. It is just a lame
excuse you all give non stop because you have NO premises for what you say.

I don't think he will ever play again...at least hope so.

Funny that when he was first indicted he used the old "I look forward to clearning my name" line - what a hypocrite!

I wonder if he will now actually confess publicly that he did it or whether he will just use the politically correct "I'm sorry for any harm I caused", "mistakes were made", "I hung out with the wrong people", etc.

These dolts and their PR dolts don't understand that above all the public HATES being lied to! He would have been better of not making any comment about the indictment because once he looks straight into the camera and lies to your face you have no reason to ever believe him again.

Regarless, however, I GUARANTEE he will be playing in the NFL three years from now. Sadly, talent trumps character ALWAYS in the NFL. Heck, the Raiders would sign him now if they could. Someone will give him another chance, some owner will make a speech about second chances, Vick will give repeated scripted apologies, he'll vow to be good if fans will give him a chance, etc. Just like Bonds, he'll get booed by some fans, but if he can actually win there are home-town fans who will forgive and forget.

(There is an outside chance that even though the Feds didn't indict him on gambling charges Goodell will come to his own conclusion and ban him for life. Realistically, I think goodell will give him a 2-year ban or an "indefinate" ban that can be appealed later)

The man is a bum! He deserves the max as any other bum who gets his kicks seeing dogs tear each other apart. Unfortunately Vick has too much money...Worse than that, the people behind him have bigger money. He will get a slap on the wrist because of the money behind him. He won't learn a lesson. The guy has been in trouble before. He evidently feels he is too important and can buy his way out of anything. What a great role model.
I doubt he will see much jail time if any. Really though...They should throw the book at him.

Vick is stupid, and so are the people that still support him. Not necessarily the people that did previously, they tried to have hope he was innocent. Anyone that still supports him is just dumb

Vick will have a hard time playing anywhere again, mainly because the QB position is usually the face of the team/franchise. Leonard Little was able to keep playing because no one really paid attention to him, as he wasn't in a high profile position like QB or even RB or WR. But Vick as a QB will have a hard time finding a team that wants to take a gamble on how bad his image with stain them. I think he may find a team willing to sign him as a backup, and then that team will slowly phase him into a starter after all the media and public outcry dies down. Thats the beauty of this country, we never stick to our moral guns and "forget" stuff like this after some years pass

My prediction - (not that I think it should happen)

Michael Vick will spend 1 to 1.5 years in jail, be suspended from the NFL until the 2009 season and then be reinstated into the league. Many people are saying that no owner is stupid enough to sign Vick when he is back. I would disagree, I think there are several owners out there stupid enough - if they are desperate enough. So, I see Michael Vick starting at QB for the Oakland Raiders in 2009.

After Vick serves his 2-5 years in prison, I'd allow him to play football again.

But!!!!! If Vick underperforms, or loses a game, we get to electrocute, drown, or bash him into the ground until he's dead.

Sounds fair to me.

More than likely he will be close to broke upon his release. I get the feeling he hasnt been wise with his money. Perhaps he will play again. But can his ego handle not being the center of attention? I doubt it. If he makes it back it will be returning kicks

He will not play in the CFL. The general managers have all agreed that no one will sign him. He won't play for Atlanta again. Who in the NFL will want him after he's done his prison time? Dallas?

I love dogs, but pit bulls I don't love. They should never have been brought to this country.

Mike Vick's crime is a whole lot less serious than the killers and drug dealers in the NFL.

You CAPITALIZING COWARDS (you know who you are) scare no one with your shallow, narrow minded opinions based on popular PETA and Media opinion about the case.

Its just dogs. Show me proof he committed a crime against a person, Stealing, Rape, Murder, Sellling crack to kids, those are the hanus crimes, not dogfighting.

He broke the rules, and the law, but he'll be back, and this Fan is here supporting a Dogfighter

By the way Jerrry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys said he would take a chance on Vick, even after a conviction, so set your media influenced beliefs and shove em up your anus holes.

Yes, He is guilty. yes, He will get around two years. yes, He will play again, in the NFL. as long as You have enough talent, there will always be a team desparate enough to give You a second or, even a third chance. it has happened lots of times in the NFL, already.
