Let's say that Michael Vick is convicted and spends some time in prison. Should he be allowed to play for the NFL again, after he's paid his time for the crime??

Michael Vick is a prevailing QB?? relatively. The Falcons have been 40-36-a million with Vick as a starter - no longer precisely super. They have been 8-8 and seven-9 the final 2 years with Vick, so which you won't be able to truly say that the reaosn they are dropping is by using the fact they don't have him. He replaced into an hassle-free QB at superb and his #a million characteristic replaced into his working skill, no longer his arm or selection making (which ought to be a QBs appropriate atribute). upload contained in the fact that he screwed the the group over super time and is going to maintain costing them contained sooner or later together with his impression on the earnings cap. So no, the Falcons shouldn't supply him yet another hazard. i'm a believer in 2d opportunities so i think of somebody ought to offer him a shot whilst he gets out of reformatory (possibly as a WR, no longer as a QB), yet i do no longer think of it will be the Falcons.

Hell No! He is a waste of talent, him Pacman Jones and Chris Henry will make a great prison team. Because that is where they all belong!
This is not a black/white thing and some people are trying to say he is only getting this treatment because he is black.
For him to go into Roger Godell's office and lie right to his face and say he had nothing to do with it is like a slap in the face.
He needs to be banned for life from the NFL. Pete Rose was banned for betting on baseball this is 100x worse!!! Pete Rose didnt execute animals which is a federal crime!!!!
I use to love watching Mike Vick play and had 2 of his Jerseys but I found great use for his jerseys now...I use them to wipe up my dogs piss and sh*t!!!

NO!!!!!!!!!!! A MAN deserves a chance. He LIED TO HIS FANS and HIS COACH and EVERYONE else and said he was innocent. It was only when he realized the seriousness of the allegations did he own up. He's a COWARD who thought because he's a multi-million dollar athlete he could torture dogs and get away with it. If you can't do the time don't do the crime.

Yes, Ray Lewis did. Same goes for Jamal Lewis, and 3/4 of the Bengal's roster! I don't think he'll warrent a huge contract again but he shouldn't be denied a job he's more than capable of having. He's one of the most freakish athletes on the planet and should still have a job on a football team in the NFL after he's paid his dues.

No.

Even though the Feds didn't indict him on gambling charges, he was obviously involved in illegal gambling. He knew clear well that NFL rules stipulate a lifetime suspension for illegal gambling and he made his choice. (Just like Pete Rose and that piece of S*** NFL ref)

Yes he should. But being a black man. He never will in white America. They love dogs more than the black race, They only deal with them because they can make them money in such as sports. This mistake has cost him his livelihood. He should have thought before he made the move. Even though I will assure you there are some more powerful people involved then mike.

He should only get another chance if he agrees to give half his future salary to animal shelters and animal organizations, make public announcements against dogfighting, and seems to be sincere about his horrible deeds. The NFL will probably suspend him and probably give him another chance. He may be gone for 1-2 years from sports due to his sentence. I dunno!

We all have done things that are wrong,If he is really and truly sorry and he shows his regret for the the bad things he has committed and if a NFL owner wants to hire him he will have a second chance. Be very careful when you judge others it give others the opportunity to judge you.

Nope. He had his chance to come clean already. He blew it! He lied straight-faced to his owner, the commissioner, and his fans. He should have said, "I'm caught, and I appologize to everyone". It's too late in the game now. He has ripped us all off!
