I dont see why not , say he gets one year in prison, HE IS A REALLY GOOD quarterback any team who is in desperate need of a quarterback will sign him.

No, he will not. Vick will be in jail for about a year. When all the rumors about Micheal Vick and dog fighting started Roger Goodell ask Vick if he was involved. Vick said he was not. He claimed it was only his house was used without his knowledge. Because Vick took the plea, this means he admitted to fighting dogs. So, he pretty much lied to the commissioners face. Goodell will take this in consideration when he decides the suspension. I would not be surprised to see a life time suspension for Vick. But It will probably his suspension will be for about 2 years. After serving time and serving his suspension he will be about 30 years. Vick may be out of shape when he comes back. No team will take a chance on him because the teams fan base will be unbelievably angry and no one wants to mess with PEDA. I do not see him playing in the AFL. The Arena Football League is just simply not made for running quarterbacks. The fields are smaller. This makes it hard to run. The only league he has a chance to play in is the CFL. The CFL already took Ricky William when the NFL rejected him in 2006.

Very doubtful. The first thing he needs to deal with is to serve his time. Then he needs to deal with the NFL; he lied to both the Commissioner and to the Falcons. There will surely be at least some suspension from the league. How severe that suspension will be is yet to be seen.
Then, and only after all those hurdles are cleared, Vick will need an NFL GM to stick his neck out and take a chance on him. I don't think many will.

maybe he will play minor league football, Canada or something but he will not be eligible to play in the NFL at least until 2011, if he does a minor sentence at 1 to 2 years (which isn't likely since he has drawn a 'hanging' judge to make that determination) the league will hand down at least a 1 year suspension for his having lied about it to begin with...by that time he will not be in football shape and will be even worse at reading defenses than he already is (they had to throw out half the offensive playbook at VT so he could run the offense and runs only 'hot' or 'one' reads (easy for a quarterback who cant sort it out...he just got away with it because he is very athletic, and the passing numbers bear that out)...looks to me like his career is thru...the Falcons are just going to have to figure a way to get back part of the 22 million signing bonus they gave him without keeping him on the roster...

I doubt it. I think the NFL has learned something from letting people like vick play again. Anyone remember lenny little? He KILLED someone after they let him play despite his 1st DWI offense! Vick is still a young guy, and to have his hands in this is no good for anyone...no one is going to want that attached to their team's reputation. I don't wish death on him like the person earlier did, but I sure don't like to see animals tortured or killed.
Also, you guys have to realize, they are gonna get him on RICO and he'll be prosecuted in VA as well. He'll be away for a while.

I doubt it very much. He has lied to the NFL. And with the new NFL the rules are very strict. I doubt very much that they will allow him back. And if they would allow him back. I don't see any team taking a shot at him. He'll be around the age of 28-29 before he gets out of jail. Plus the NFL will probally suspend him. So no I doubt he will ever be back.

yeah if not in the nfl than the cfl... he hasn't really done anything so illegal that it would directly justify a ban from the NFL, but the commish said he was lied to, and he has all the power.
plus with dogfightin on his record the nfl has the right not to allow him in, as it would hurt their image. Plus what team is going to hire a 30 yr. qb who prolly won't be as fast as he is now and then wait 1 year for him to learn the system, get up to speed, and build a team around him... do i hear al davis callin???

but he can play when he gets out if the leauge doesnt suspend him indefintly.
he will get cut by the falcons and they could seek to get the bouns money they gave him,
