Both Carson and Brady were benched in their rookie seasons.

Manning set some rookie records, but the Colts finished 3-13.

Dan Marino was statistically the best rookie QB, throwing 20 TD with only 6 Int.

Roethlisberger had the best start for a QB, as a rookie he went undeafeated (won the last 14 games) and made to the Conference Championship. His second year he won it all. He can be a succesful QB.

Bradshaw, on the other hand, had a rough start. Throwing 6 TD and 24 Ints. But he never looked back after that.

I know B. Favre didn't play all of his rookie year but did get a few starts. However, the following season, from 1992 on (when GB traded for Favre with ATL) Favre has never missed a game. He is also one of the most successful QB's to play the game. Hence, after this season, Favre should hold every record by a QB.

Go Pack!

He is willing to work on his mechanics and spend those extra hours studying his rivals, which is something that JaMarcus Russell or Ryan Leaf never did despite having the physical tools. He can be more than a seriviceable starter in the right scheme.
