His cell mate will be in his mid to late 40's having been arrested for the rape and murder of a 17 year old homecoming queen 13 years ago. He met her at a high school football game (he had been to every single game since his alma mater lost the state championship game years ago reliving the glory days through todays kids, even trying to date the teenage girls!). All he will talk to Vick about is how he led the team down the field with 2 minutes left in the game to set up the game winning field goal only to watch his dream fade 'wide right'. He will talk about how he could've went to college, maybe gone pro. But instead he worked on his Uncles farm and made sure he was off in time on Friday nights to head to the big game in town. He will try to be Mike's best friend, but when Vick starts getting defensive, the ole' timer gets really scary and eventually him and his buddies kidnap Vick one night and make him be the QB in their prison league team.
They make it to the National Prison League championship only to lose to a team led by 'PACMAN' Jones (who had recently been jailed on continuous bad behavior).
The night after the game, Vick is found stabbed to death in his cell bye a paper clip with this written on the wall in blood...."I WAS OPEN IN THE END ZONE DOGKILLER!"

Hopefully, it's a huge, muscular, bodyguard, wrestler type who loves animals and who has homosexual and sadistic tendencies. He will beat the living daylights out of pretty boy Vick and show him what the real meaning of torture is. Hopefully the inmate will be a 400 pound manic! lol!

My honest answer?
He'll get special treatment and a cell all to himself. He'll still be considered a celebrity when he is put into prison.
The real criminals inside will know who he is and what he did to get put in the slammer so Vick will be protected.
