Ok simply put, will New England resent the day they traded for Randy Moss (4th round pick or not) or will this resurrect his career as a playmaker? The Patriots have never had a true playmaker at WR to be a combo with Tom Brady so this could be a match made in heaven, however Moss's attituded could also send it directly to hell....what do you all think?

But him being picked so low in the draft I heard one of the spectators say he just missed out on 20 million. So approx. what will he be offered?Or will he haf to prove himself?I personally thought everything that he had a flaw in could be corrected in practice. What do you think?

Chris Leak will be the best story in 2007 to watch. If he makes someone's roster as a back-up Quarterback, the Mel Kipers and the top sports scouts will have mud in their face. If he is on a winning Super Bowl Team then I say we need to throw all the past analysis out and declare a new day. Good Guys Finish First. Remember he said he was going to win a SEC Championship and a National Championship DAY ONe when he signed with Florida. "I would put money that he is just beginning to make his next prediction. I am listening...

The old rules is fine by me, but there are some who want the college system put in place where both teams get a chance " to be fair " ( wahh wahhh wahhhh )
They accurately point out that about 80% of the time the team who wins the coin toss wins the game.
Football is about change. Whether its moving the goal posts to the back of the end zone, or implementing the 2 point conversion ( Thank you USFL )

I got a great idea courtesy of the XFL. They decided who got the option to kick or receive by placing the ball on the 50 yard line. Each team would select one player. They then would line up at the 20.Then they would race for the football, treating it as a live fumble. Whoever got possession gave his team the choice to kick or receive. Well, I think it's a cool twist anyways.

so vote on the 2 options the NFL is debating and consider the 3rd option I put in.
1. Keep things as is.
2. Go to the college OT system
3. Use the XFL rule instead of coin flip to decide who kicks/receives

Troy Smith the Heisman Trophy winner didn't get drafted until late in the 4th or 5th round, and National Championship MVP Chris Leak of UF didn't even get drafted at all. Does anybodyelse find this odd?

Notre Dame tied for 3rd most players taken from any school in the country. I don't understand why, especially their defensive players were taken so soon, or at all for that matter. They have a weak schedule for the most part and got pummeled by the better teams they played. Brady Quinn is awesome, but after that....questionable.

He says that now that he is a Patriot, that fans have only seen a glimpse of what he's capable of. Do you think he'll go off in the NE offense? Maybe he'll get 2000 yards this year, or more!! He did a private workout for both Green Bay AND New England, as part of pre-draft trade talk, and he ran a 4.29 40 yard dash! That is Deion Sanders speed, folks! Randy is 30, but he can still run like a cheetah!!!

When you consider that the Patriots have Tom Brady throwing to Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth, and they have a great young HB in Laurence Maroney.

Dwayne Jarrett dropped into the second round. A lot of people argue that this is because of the Mike Williams fiasco in Detroit.

Is comparing Jarrett to Williams a fair comparison considering they came from the same school/system, have similar size (at draft time, Jarrett was 1 inch shorter and 10 lbs lighter) and similar 40 times?

Basically, do you think Jarrett will be a productive nfl player or just another Mike Williams? Although they seem similar, doesn't the recent success of big receivers (Braylon Edwards, Larry Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, Anquan Boldin, Marques Colston, etc) imply that Jarrett might be pretty good?

He was great in college with the gators and performed the best in college football's greatest stage, yet he is not drafted.
I understand he doesn't have the size that teams are looking for,but he is still a very good qb.
