It's huge. Not only because it gives Randy Moss his second chance at becoming what everybody thought he'd be (the game breaking, record making, play making receiver that he has been) but for the Patriots to have a legitimate #1 receiver with insane playmaking skills that kept them from the super bowl because of one play in the AFC Championship game last year. All Moss has to do is contribute, not be a stud every game but contribute which means buying into the Patriot "team" mentality. I know this was a great move but a risky one to others, but people forget that this is the Patriots; this is a veteran laden team with a veteran laden coaching staff led by a veteran coach that knows how to deal with these type of guys (see Rodney Harrison, Corey Dillon). I don't question for one minute that Brady won't sit Moss down and they will get on the same page from the get go. Brady needs Moss, Moss needs Brady/Pats, and everyone wins.
GO PATS! Super Bowl Champs 07 *crosses fingers*

The Raiders received the Patriots' 4th round pick in exchange for Moss. Yes, apparently that's all he's worth, because the Packers had a chance to get him, but they didn't think he was worth more than a 5th round pick, so they got outbid by the Patriots. A big reason why Randy is going to the Patriots is because he respects their team a lot more than he respects any other NFL team. Also, Tom Brady is one of the very few QBs in the NFL that he has said he would be excited to play with. Randy's total lack of respect for the entire Raiders' organization was one big reason why he was a flop as a Raider, so the thought is that he will probably perform better for the Patriots than he will for any other NFL team because he actually respects the Patriots.

The patriots are already a super bowl caliber team with several proven winners and a very underated coach and quarterback. If scumbucket thug Randy Moss can shut his ghetto yapper and just play football he should be a HUGE asset to the patriots offense. He has definately lost a step in the last few years but opposing defenses will not be able to key on him as the patriots have several other weapons as well. Hopefully for the patriots he will spend more time thinking about football and less time chllin with thugs and rolling dubies! Maybe Tom Brady can teach him a little bit about what it is to be a REAL MAN and not some loser punk gangster wannabe. Brady is a class act all the way. . .plays the game. . . and lets his GAME speak for him. . . not a bunch of hype and B.S. Go Pats!!!

This team is unbeatable. No defence in the NFL will be able to stop the Pats this year. They may try some double coverage on Moss, but that would leave Stallworth open, do it on Stallworth and it leaves Moss open. Does any team in the NFL have CB's good enough to stop both these WR's. I mean they were both Number 1 receivers at their previous teams, and now New England have them both. Maybe the '72 Dolphins won't be the only undefeated team after this year. Picture it '07 Patriots, Second Perfect Season. That's all I got to say.

I dont know a team that can beat them right now. I mean, on offense, there are mismatches on every defense out there. You cant double stallworth without leavin Moss in single coverage, and vice versa. On defense, they're only weakness in LB and 1 DB, but the LBs have experience and the DBs are always patchwork and the Pats still find a way to win. Pats are goin 16-0 and winning the Super Bowl.

Signing Moss is a excellent but risky move. It might cause some chemistry problems cause now you have Moss and Stallworth and drafted Merriwether all guys w/baggage. Plus I know Brady can throw deep but I see him more as a mid field QB, while Moss is almost strictly deep/up for grabs WR. Plus this shakes up the whole WR corps mentality. Stallworth thought he's the 1 but now probably is the 2. Poor Cadwell played his heart out last season now probably will sit the bench, Welker came in thinking he was a 2 or 3 but now what? kick returns again? aww man not again, and Washington too. But still Bilichick is a heck of coach who knows how to preach teamwork so I think it'll work out. Yout biggest problem is seeing the Chargers again in the playoffs cause we aint letting that sh|t happen again, its gonna be payback time. YEEEHAAW! GO BOLTS!

Just put it this way, if moss acts like a complete douchbag, the pats can and will trade him for some defensive players 'cause you know there will always be teams who will want him. And its not like the Pats gave up much. A third round pick?!?!?.Thats definitaly a steal.

Sure if you think your dynasty going down the drain is an awesome thing...lol C'mon you honestly think Moss belongs with a great team like that? He sucks, he has an awful attitude!! I thought the Patriots were a team, Moss doesn't know the meaning of the word team, he is all about himself. If he doesn't get what he wants he pouts, and won't perform, and you honestly think he's going to get what he wants there? ♣Good Luck♣ with a 3 leaf clover!
