Meaning, which running back who is on the cusp of being done will have the worst season and be the biggest dissappointment?

Canidates are : Jamal Lewis of Cleveland, Ahman Green of Houston, Travis Henry of Denver, Dominic Rhodes of Oakland, Thomas Jones of NYJ or pick your own bust.

I think Henry and Rhodes are back ups who won't matter much, while Jones should do OK assuming he stays healthy. Green will share carries.

So, I'm picking Jamal Lewis. 3 yards and a cloud of dust at this stage of his career.

I get tired of hearing ESPN call Manning and Farve, ect " the best ever " or " greatest ever ".
It's a joke!
Sure, the modern day NFL athelete is superior in regards to physical shape. They don't have to hold 2nd jobs to make ends meet like the old timers did. They just train yearound, where those who have a football card from the 70's can recall many of them saying things like " Bob sells used cars in the off season " on some ALL PROS card!
The rules are also a HUGE part of it!
Blockers can now extend their hands, where they couldn't before 1978. Wide receivers cannot be touched after 5 yards, where it used to be 10 yards in 1978. You may as well put a flag on a QB, or a dress or place in a pope mobile! Who here doesn't think a 15 yard flag for hitting a QB too hard is disgusting?Put Manning or Farve or Jerry Rice into the old rules and watch their stats get cut more than in half. Put a guy like Dan Fouts, Joe Namath into todays modern rules and watch them double their stats.

If a team wants a player and the player wants to play for that team, why can't they just hire him like any other job? Is there any way to get around it besides sitting out a year or something? I can see why the league wants to spread the talent around and give the crappy teams a shot at great players, but it just seems kinda crazy to me and I don't think I've ever heard of any major players getting around it, so it must be seriously enforced.

I think so!!!!!

Al Davis LOVES speed that's why he will draft Calvin Johnson! No one is saying JaMarcus Russell will be a great QB..... plus if Miami trades for Trent Green, Culpepper will become available and we know how great he was with Randy Moss.

Plus there are other QBs in the draft like Trent Edwards, Jordan Palmer and etc.

The colts finally won the big game last year, but, I actually feel like that team last year was the worst of all the teams weve had in the last 3 or 4 years, do you agree. Also do you feel like the AFC south competition is getting tougher, with the emergence of Vince Young, tough Jacksonville Defense. Share your thoughts?

i am basiially trying to do a ration of teams offensive lines and defense's ability to get sacks

what id like to do is be able to divide teams sacks by total plays involved in to get a ration

such as New England allowed X amount of sacks on Tom Brady in Y amount of plays. so every (blank) amount of plays they allow a sack.

and the other way. NE had X amount of sacks on defense and we're on the field for y amount of plays whats the ratio

id like to do this for every NFL team is there a good ref page to go to

any help would be great and thanks in advance
