I'm gonna go with Oklahoma HB Adrian Peterson. Here's why:
Oakland is going to take JaMarcus Russell. Whoever drafts second will take Calvin Johnson, because the Lions may trade. Cleveland will take Brady Quinn because they're dumb enough to think he's better than Charlie Frye. Whoever drafts 4th will take Gaines Adams (Tampa or Detroit), The Cardinals are taking Joe Thomas, The Redskins are taking LaRon Landry or Jamaal Anderson. If Peterson slides to 7th, the Vikings would be dumb not to take him. Yes Chester Taylor ran for 1200 yards last year, but you don't pass up a back like this in the draft. The Saints had Deuce McAllister, yet they drafted Reggie Bush. How'd that work out?

I'm gonna guess defensive end Jamaal Anderson, Arkansas.
The Vikes could really use a defensive end opposite Udeze to get pressure on opposing QBs. They also could use a top-notch WR or CB, but they aren't likely to find one that is worthy of the #7 pick. They also also could use a free safety like Laron Landry, but I don't think Landry is gonna still be on the board. And if Brady Quinn or Jamarcus Russell make it past the 4th pick, some team (like the Dolphins) will trade up with the Cards or Redskins to get him.

The Vikings appear to have the possibility of helping out one of their weak points. They may possibly be able to pick Peterson who will help split the carries with Chester Taylor, Brady Quinn may slip to them and have a chance at competing for the starting role at quarterback, gaines adams may slip down to them, where they could finally complete their defensive line, or Ted Ginn Jr. is almost a definite should be available there, and he should add assistance to the receiving game. Then there's several defensive backs available. I truly think they will take Ted Ginn Jr, or trade up to take Calvin Johnson, but it's more likely that they will draft Ted Ginn. The Vikings got rid of majority of their receivers in the off-season and appear to be giving the opportunity for someone new to step into the role to take the starting job at receiver.

Adrian Peterson if avalible. The Vikings want to build around Tavaris Jackson any way so no QB. If not Peterson then a WR, maybe Steve Smith or Dwayne Jarett.

Jokes are exciting. All joking aside, the Vikings have in all probability the final probability of going to the superbowl out of the NFC north. the only different NFC communities i may be apprehensive approximately is the Cowboys and perhaps the Packers if Aaron Rodgers is a delicate transition. however the vikings opportunities hinge onTarvaris Jackson as much as they do Aaron Rodgers.

Adrian Peterson if he is available because he would be the best player left on the board at seven. If he is not there they will take laundy, reaves, or they will trade down...No way they pick quinn if he falls.......
