It just seems that teams with black QBs never win it. Mcnabb, Vick, Culpepper, Cunningham, Leftwich, Brooks, Akili Smith, etc never win a super bowl. But Manning, Brady, Favre, Elway, Bledsoe, Gannon, Aikman, Montana, Simms, Young, etc.

I dont know if black QBs just arent as football smart. Seems to me they are always trying to run first and make the big highlight play, rather than just throw it away. I know more is involved in a winning team than just the QB. Mcnabb did make the NFC title games 3-4 times. Mcnair did make it 2 the super bowl and all. But it just seems that white QBs are better overall. I don't mean this in a racist way. I know plenty of white QBs suck (Leaf, Shuler, etc)

i think they are going to draft pretty boy quinn

but it would be smart to take peterson or crennel is gone and they have to begin all over with a new system and they spent two and a half years looking for 3-4 players

but i heard that oakland might take johnson which would let cleveland move up to #2 and take russell who the browns GM phil savage has known since russell was like 12 he was going to savages QB camp

If you look back at all of the Super Bowl winning qb's you will see that most of them with the exception of a few were great field generals.

Does this draft hold any future field generals?

Norv Turner has a career losing record, which is a bigger black mark than Marty Schottenheimer's postseason losing record in my opinion

Remember Willingham went 10-1 his first year...after an (8-0 start)

Weis started 5-2 in his first, and has been repeatedly STEAMROLLED by top 10 teams the past 53 weeks...the problem Alumni, and Boosters said was the reason Willingham was let go.

Ohio State 34, Notre Dame 20.

Michigan 47, Notre Dame 21.

USC 44, Notre Dame 24.

LSU 41, Notre Dame 14.

Contract extension for Weis.

Double standard, eh?

Notre Dame played Army, Navy, North Carolina (who won ONE game and came LAST in the ACC), and nearly lost to a middle of the pack UCLA team...AT HOME.

In addition, these teams (ie - North Carolina) gained over 400 yards of Offense vs. ND. Hmm....

Do all coaches who win a Superbowl,..make it to the Hall of Fame?..No matter how much the rest of their coaching career may have turned out?..Even if they were losers except for that 1 season?..Is winning a Superbowl..a sure way into the Hall of Fame for a coach?

There were only 12 teams in 1956. I know it was the 17th round.

It was between 193 and 205.

(Round 16 was complete so 16x12=192. Next round started with pick 193.)

Brady was pick # 199. Was Bart Starr picked later than 199? I can't find it, although 17th round is everywhere.

How do you know that investment is good? What kind of guarantee does JaMarcus Russel have to make to the Raiders? This is ridiculous the money they pay these un-battle tested rookies!! Who agrees?
