I don't think the Redskins have a coherent plan for winning. Their current strategy, employed since Daniel Snyder bought the team, is to bring in every free agent they can regardless of the fit. Last year they paid millions to free agent Adam Archuleta and then played him primarily on special team because he didn't fit in the defense. Campbell is not a special enough talent to overcome bumbling leadership from the front office. Joe Gibbs is a great coach but his ability to lead the team is being undermined by a visionless owner. As long as Daniel Snyder owns the team, the Redskins will never win a Super Bowl.

Will he bring the Redskins another Super Bowl victory? No way to tell. Could he? Yes, but the Redskins need to make some improvements.

They have a running game, to be sure, and have plenty of talented receivers from which to choose. But the whole team's depth is meager, at best. One or two injuries to starters & the season is pretty much blown. Campbell can't lead them to victory if the defense can't rush the passer or defend against the long pass.

And if they want Campbell to lead them to victory, they need to get him on the field & Mark Brunell off the field.

Redskin fans should be disappointed in their ownership. Dan Snyder, to his credit, is willing to put his money out there in order to get top free agents. But, it is as if he has no mind for football. His view is so miopic. He seems to look at the players individually and not how they will fit into the team.

Jason Campbell is not the answer alone.

Unfortunately, for Redskins fans this is going to be a bleak draft. The Redskins have the sixth pick over all and then they do not pick again until #143! That's the 5th round.

Come Monday I think we are going to see many sad Redskin fans around here.

He is a good solid QB. I am an Auburn alum and watched this guy play four seasons under four different offensive coordinators. He makes few mistakes and if surrounded by the right talent, he could eventually lead the Skins to a Super Bowl.

Possibly. I kept hearing Redskins fans in Ocean City last summer talk about the skins will win Superbowl XLI. But it was the colts.

When was the last time Campbell brought them to the Superbowl? I don't think so. Maybe the playoffs.

If he's able to break into the stadium of the winning team and steal it for them, then yes he could.
