White QBs better than black QBs?

Question

It just seems that teams with black QBs never win it. Mcnabb, Vick, Culpepper, Cunningham, Leftwich, Brooks, Akili Smith, etc never win a super bowl. But Manning, Brady, Favre, Elway, Bledsoe, Gannon, Aikman, Montana, Simms, Young, etc.

I dont know if black QBs just arent as football smart. Seems to me they are always trying to run first and make the big highlight play, rather than just throw it away. I know more is involved in a winning team than just the QB. Mcnabb did make the NFC title games 3-4 times. Mcnair did make it 2 the super bowl and all. But it just seems that white QBs are better overall. I don't mean this in a racist way. I know plenty of white QBs suck (Leaf, Shuler, etc)

Im not saying that whites are better football players or are more athletic. I know there have been more white QBs over the years, but Im just saying it seems that white QBs on average are better than black QBs.

Reverse is true for CBs. Im sure there are some fast white CBs out there but for whatever reason all the good CBs are black.

Dude you are going to get some mad answers from whites who pretend to like blacks and blacks who can't take the insult but give it out to every other race. Im not trying to be racist but people calm the hell down its JUST THE INTERNET!!!!!!

But i have to agree, except McNairr and McNabb there aren't many good Black Qbs in the nfl right now.
I see that you are not trying to be racist and thats a good thing.

But also there haven't been many good white runningbacks since john riggins and franco harris. And also there haven't been good white cornerbacks (wander if there are any white cornerbacks).

first let me say that black n white qbs arent any different. The only difference is there are 3 or 4 times as many white qbs starting in the nfl then black. As far as running all the time it isnt r fault that most os us were given the gift of mobility. B4 there was a michael vick or a mcnabb there was steve young and doug flutie. Even Roger Staubach was a GREAT scrambler. Infact Tom Landry almost traded him cuz he didnt like the way he would improvise. Black and white it doesnt matter given the oppertunity n e 1 can succeed regardless of race. Isnt it crazy how a couple years ago no 1 wanted a black head coach. HMMMMMM werent there 2 black head coaches in the super bowl

I don't give a **** what people think but the best quarterbacks in the history of the game have been white. Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Sammy Baugh, John Elway, Johnny Unitas, Fran Tarkenton, Roger Staubach, Brett Favre, etc. However, there have been very good black quarterbacks as well (Donovan McNabb, Randall Cunningham, Doug Williams, Warren Moon, etc.) One's race doesn't determine how great of a quarterback they will be. The only reason the perception is that white quarterbacks are better is because all of the great quarterbacks are white and there are more of them than blacks. The quarterback position requires less athleticism than running backs, wide receivers, safeties, linebackers so blacks tend to play those positions more frequently. Maybe one day there will be more black quarterbacks but I think there will always be around 5-6 black starters out of 32 teams.

Well hmmmmmm let's see........ Jeff Garcia can run, Jake Plummer can run, Stephen McGee can run, Romo aint that bad, Roger Staubach was a beast runner, Fran Tarkenton could, Steve Young could go... Athletic ability? Naw it's just what your blessed with...

It might be a little more productive talkin about why there is only 1 , YES 1, white half back in the NFL, Nick Goings, Carolina Panthers... Why are black recievers *better*? Why are there more white kickers and punters? Your question is irrelevant and stupid anyways, it don't mattter what shoes you wear, what color your skin is, what language you speak, it just matters if you can ball or not.
Manning does his thing good. Vick does his thing good. That's all there is, Vick can run, so he runs, Manning can pass and read defenses so he reads the D and slings the ball around... BTW I am a white guy tailback and wide reciever...

OK...even though I'm white it just depends on the talent..basic skills! Who knows Brady Quinn could be better than Jamarcus Russel or Jamarcus Russel could be better than Brady Quin. Plus you think about Vince Young he may have been better than a lot of other white QBs. If he had a good enough team, he may have had a chance to win the Super Bowl. And with all the other good black QBs if they had a good team with them. So....it all depends on the team and the talent.

the numbers are just out of proportion for to long black guys were told they'd be better recievers or rbs than qbs but as it is now we'll start to see that a smart Qb whether black or white or latino or asian that has atheletic ability can win,. and don't forget that doug williams won the superbowl with the redskins. it's really about the coach and the offensive game plan. oh and in case you are wondering am a white guy

no color dont matter its talent and jason seahorn played cb for the giants a few years back in the superbowl and he was white ,also they are plenty of good black qb's in the nfl and it wont be long before one of these guys breaks thru to win a super bowl hopefully putting an end to all the stereotypes and we can see both races as athletes not white or black athletes just plain athletes

But you do got a point.I don't think that black QB's aren't that accuarate as white QBs.Most black QB's do like to rush a lot. And most white QBs stay in the pocket,sometimes they rush whenever they get the chance.

white or black it depends on the players around you. two of the best QBs that ever played had same problems. they put up the numbers and TDs but didnt have the team to win the big one
the two greats i'm talking about is warren moon and dan marino.
