Playoffs? Most Likely.

Super Bowl? Only because they're in the NFC.

The Niners are a nice team, but I wouldnt give them the division title just yet, let alone the Super Bowl trophy. Alex Smith, Frank Gore and Vernon Davis are a great core for the offinse, but they still need a big play reciever to take some of the pressure off. Ashley Lelie is not the answer there. And their D is very suspect. I think theyll finish 3rd at best behind the Seahawks and Rams, but if the Cards get it together, they might find the basement again in the West. But overall, San Fran is on the right track.

Playoffs YES, Super Bowl NO, The Niners have 8 picks in the first 3-4 rounds, but I would change that and trade it's what, 11th overall pick, to the Patriots for their two 1st round picks, then instead of one star in the first round they could fill a bunch of holes, go deep and get depth players later and build more for the future, Dwayne Jarrett and Alan Branch will be available in the late first round and I would trade down and get both... Watch out for the 49ers in the nest few seasons...

NFC is weak, a SB maybe there, let SF be the next victim of the AFC in the Super Bowl.

they'll go into the playoffs as a wild card, they've made some key improvements especially on the defensive side of the ball, they definitely will not go to the super bowl tho

They are my pick to be the NFC champion so yes to all.

Unfortunately, the NFC is still about 2 years behind the AFC so the AFC champion will win it, probably Indianapolis or New England.

Alex Smith doesnt have Norv Turner as his offensive coordinator and without him, Smith cant progress.

Forget the superbowl, they wont even make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Still a few years away from being a contender. Don't let a few free agent signings get you excited. They usually never work out.
