They weren't any good without em. Let's see how their draft goes. How Mario Williams prgresses. If the O-Line can protect their new franchise QB, etc. It's a wait and see thing. I suspect they won't be much better than last year, but Houston is building for teh future with Schaub.

Houston seems to have big problems...(What other kind could there be in Texas?)..., but they did well to acquire Matt Schaub and Ahman Green. I believe that the things players represent are sometimes just as, if not more, important than the talent they possess. Matt Schaub will perform as well as David Carr, but it will take some time. I live in Atlanta and am a Falcon fan, and Matt Schaub is a character player. A top notch "guy" with a great arm. He'll be an excellent leader, too, but he's a very different type of leader than alot of people may expect. He's very quiet and reserved. He will expect his play to do the talking, but he won't respond well to unfair criticism (then again, who could????????). This year might be a problem for the Texans if they don't do an outstanding job of selling Texan fans on Schaub's leadershuip style. As for Ahman Green, great player for the Packers and should be a real force in the lockerroom. This is a guy who's really been through the wars.
Gary Kubiak will bring the Texans around his way. It won't be pretty, but they'll get there. Also, draft day will surely mean some interesting turns for the Texans. Meantime, work hard for those guys you have already!

No. Their line still sucks. Ahman Green is way over paid and he has to leave after two plays because of asthma, not too mention he'll fumble atleast once a game for the first six games. Schaub is still unproven and could be all hype, besides, he'll get sacked every other play.

Nope....Matt Schaub is not even close to how good david carr is and look how bad he did! They didn't upgrade the one thing they needed to and that is their O-Line!.......They got a new O-Line coach but the players have no talent! Ahman green is on the decline of his career! He's been washed up for a couple years already! Thats why Green Bay didn't stick with him!

well lets see
Texans O-line + Ahman Green= "0"
Matt Schaub + Texans O-line= -1
Matt Schaub + recievers= 1
add it all together and thats what they're gonna do this season.

Those 2 guys don't do the team any good unless they find someone that can actually block for them. Schaub has "potential" at QB, but he's even slower than Carr, who proved its really hard to play that position from your back.

no they should have got a younger hb and a more proven qb,so really they took two steps back again instead of trading up to get a.peterson, are the texans afraid of getting a good hb.

dude, i don't care if you have Manning and Addai in the backfield of the Texans, if that line doesn't block then they might as well get use to washing grass stains out of their jerseys
