Troy should be thankful he definatley has a opportunity to succeed in the NFL. and after all the bashing he was getting by scouts thats all he should have asked for. he fell pretty far ( last pick in the 5th round) but he fell into a good spot (Baltimore). McNair Should retire in a couple years and Kyle will be a free agent after next year. He is not going to start anytime soon but his success is all on his shoulders now.

QBs that win the Heisman aren't always NFL stars.
Just look at recent history Gino Torretta, Charlie Ward, Danny Wuerffel, Eric Crouch, Chris Wienke, and Jason White are all QBs that have won the Heisman that were either busts or had no impact at all in the NFL.

Troy Smith is very small in terms of NFL QB size. He also has poor mechanics and cant read defenses well. He got away with alot his flaws on talent in college that he can't in the NFL.

Should be converted to something else like a running back or a wide receiver.
