Fantasy Sports - April 2007

This is not a keeper league. Who will be the better fantasty producer? Both put up big numbers last year. I know Mauer will hit for a higher average, but McCann will likely hit for more power. If you had both on your fantasy team, which one would you trade?

So I've been looking for a diamond in the rough to throw into my pitching staff. What do you guys think of Cliff Lee, he is suppose to be making a start on Thurs. with a new slider pitch in his arsenal. With good run support I thought he might be a good snag while still on the Dl. What do you guys think?

On the transactions list in my league, there are two guys who constantly add a player, and then two minutes later go ahead and drop him. They do this periodically with about ten different players, and they do it back to back to back to back, etc. Is there some hidden benefit to this that I am not seeing? I can't see how having the most transactions would benefit anybody????

I was just offered four trades from the same person because he really wants Alfonso Soriano. The four trades were Vernon Wells, Davis DeJesus, and Kelly Johnson, for Alfonso Soriano, and Chase Utley. The second was Vernon Wells, David DeJesus, and Arron Harang for Alfonso Soriano and Chase Utley. The third was Derek Jeter, Vernon Wells, and David DeJesus for Alfonso Soriano, and Hanley Ramirez. Does anyone know why Yahoo lists certain players as 1B when they are actually DH and then some as Util? Example, David Ortiz is a DH but listed as 1B, Frank Thomas is a DH and listed as Util. Wouldn't it make sense just to list all DH as 1B/Util?

I have ended up with too many outfielders/utility players through picking people up off of waivers (people dropped konerko and matsui) and my pitching has diminished due to injuries. No one in the league really wants to trade, so I think I will just pick someone up off of waivers and drop....Byrnes I guess. Here is my team (mind you only an 8 person league):

Byrnes is just so hot to start the year, but I can't see this continuing for him, and don't see anyone else on my team who I should or could drop. What would you do?
