I have Aubrey Huff, and am looking to replace him possibly. Is Ty Wigginton a good replacement, or is Huff better? Other possible replacements are David Dejesus, Curtis Granderson, Mark Derosa, Nick Markakis, Dmitri Young, and Chris Duncan. Which one is best and why?

First off out of all those people, huff is the worst. I don't know why that guy said huff is a good second half player, maybe he's been listening to so many broadcasters from Sports Center and hasn't actually seen his stats. In 2005, Huff batted .267 with 14 HR's and 47 RBI (Pre all star .256/8/45). Even worse, in 2006 he batted .250 with 13 HR's and 38 RBI (as opposed to an abysmal pre all star split of .283/8/28). Someone has been laying off the juice huh? Anyways I actually like all of your back up candidates except mark Derosa and I'm still half and half with Young...he's got the history and was injured last year but could be on his way out making room for his little bro! It's hard but if I were to pick two I would pick Markakis and Duncan. Duncan I give the edge to because he hits more dingers and neither are that fast. But I mean depending on what you need more, power or sb's, I would take Duncan or Granderson, with more skepticism taking Granderson. Good luck!

OK- thing to remember- wiggington has been a roller coaster player his whole career-so leave him be.Huff is good 2nd half player. Either Markakis or Granderson will be improvement .markakis will give you nice but not prolific numbers- Good in most depts- so he's a plus.Granderson is getting better all the time - but Ave is a bit low.Too early to call Duncan or Dejesus- both look good now.

I would have to say pick up Markakis then Granderson, both of which will be an improvement on Huff. Good Luck

this is a good situation for you to be in. i would pick markakis over granderson. wigginton is good but streaky at times. markakis will give you consistent hits with some power thrown in there. granderson is a pure athlete that can make some things happen. but i believe markakis is the way to go. good luck

take markakis by all means because out of those people named he should have the best year...the kids got raw pure talent and i dont see why he should faulter now...expect numbers like last year except a bit on the up and up.....look for 20/90/.285 for the year in baltimore...

Markakis has the biggest upside...a possible .300 hitter plus 30 HRs..he gets the pitches Tejada don't
