I have ended up with too many outfielders/utility players through picking people up off of waivers (people dropped konerko and matsui) and my pitching has diminished due to injuries. No one in the league really wants to trade, so I think I will just pick someone up off of waivers and drop....Byrnes I guess. Here is my team (mind you only an 8 person league):

C-Russ Martin
1B-Texiera
2B-Aaron Hill
3B-Wright
SS-Tejada
OF-Dunn
OF-Soriano
OF-Bay
Util-Matsui
backups:
Konerko
Thome
Delmon Young
Eric Byrnes

Pitching:
Starters:
Willis
Sheets
Halladay
Arroyo
Bedard

Relievers:
F.Rodriguez
Ray
Saito

I feel I need another starting pitcher. Out on the waivers are Ervin Santana, Bush, Millwood, Noah Lowry among others who will prob get me some quality starts.

Byrnes is just so hot to start the year, but I can't see this continuing for him, and don't see anyone else on my team who I should or could drop. What would you do?

You have some quality hitters that are going to sit on your bench all year. Try trading one of your backups for a quality starting pitcher before going to the waiver wire.

I dont believe Decker in any respect inspite of lloyd lengthy previous. Tebow isn't a organic passing QB's so that you receives mediocre production from him. Cruz is a sturdy participant. He replaced into sturdy very last 365 days yet NYG had too many different sturdy WR's. Cruz has been on the strengthen on condition that he's change right into a starter.. in case your choosing up Torain to fill a bye spot then Decker must be the single. even if Torain is a starting up RB or perhaps even with the actuality that its for the Skins he remains a starter. I say drop decker for torain. also, have you ever seen attempting to make a rade for Decker. See if all and sundry likes him adequate that you need to get a RB. attempt a Jonathan Stewart or a Ryan provide or Starks. It doesnt harm to attempt formerly you drop.

IF nobody will deal, drop Byrnes and Bedard (Mr. "Please Crush Me") for Bush and Lowry. Lowry is starting to act like a pitcher and has very high upside, and pitches in a division with 3 pitchers parks. Bush has an occasional meltdown, but his WHIP is strong and Milwaukee has a great offensive team which will get you some extra W's.

No, trade him to somebody who needs SB an runs. You can get a better pitcher through trade than free agents. His value is over inflated because of his hot start but he'll fade as the season progresses.

Drop Aaron Hill. Eric Byrnes will get you stolen bases.

Byrnes is hot, for sure but he will cool down. Still, he's worht keeping as a bench guy. I would drop Delmon Young. He hurt you more than help you in the long run.

Whatever you do, don't listen to JohnnyL, he's an idiot. If you drop Aaron Hill, who plays 2B? What an idiot!!!
