Lance Berkman is just off to a slow start. His best season was last year with 45 hrs and 120+ RBIs. Now he has protection behind him. Give him a little time and im sure he will heat up real soon. Despite what else has been said, Berkman has better years in him.

You got him in probably the 2nd round of your draft and 3 weeks into the season you are ready to give up on him. He hit .315 with 45 HR and 130 rbi without a good hitter behind him last season. He has historically gotten off to slow starts (this year has been his slowest but still). You would be sick if you gave up on him and gave him away in a bad deal ,face it the other owners would sense you are willing to give him up pretty cheap and will take advantage. Then he goes on one of his hitting spree's and you are pissed that he didnt do it while you still had him. Never give up so easily on proven guys, they always tend to hit around their career numbers by seasons end. But I do wish you were in my league...Berkman would be on my roster by now and i would have offered 2 bench guys that happen to be off to hot starts.

Unless you can get fair value for him, I'd say no. You probably drafted him late first or early second round and should expect someone of that caliber in return. This isn't the first time he started slow and he's always rebounded for a high avg and good power production. Stick with him.

you should trade him. besides the fact that he's had a slow start, i dont think he can still hit 35 or 40 home runs in the season. his production has gone down in recent years. you should get josh hamilton of the cincinnati reds. he's underrated, but i think he's a great player. definitely try to get him.

If you don't have any offers for him, hold onto him and wait! You won't get much for him right now with him batting .200
