Rivera finally got his first save of the season this week. Not a great start for the HOF'r.

Jenks is kicking butt, with 8 saves.

Who do I start this week??

wow, tough decision. I think Rivera just got off his slump, but the yankees are still on a slump. if the yankees cant even win a game, then how is Rivera gonna get some saves? For that reason, i think Jenks would be the good pick until the yankees can pull themselves together.

Bobby Jenks. Even though the Yankees and Rivera are better, the Yankees are on a skid. Even if Rivera pitches great, he can't get a save if the Yankees are behind. Keep that in mind.

Start Jenks because the Sox are better than the Yanks so Jenks will have more opportunities for saves than Rivera

This week you start Jenks. Start Jenks till the Yankees have a solid rotation. There is too much presure in the Yankee bullpen, and we are wittnessing dissaster. Rivera, will finish the season strong, but Jenks is just being consistent, and there is no reason to bench him. Also for every inning Jenks has pitched he is getting you about 1 strikeout(11.2 innings/11K's). Thats just another bonus.

so what rivera is having a slow start so is the whole team however in my opinion rivera is the GUY when you need a big game go to him more 60 % of the time he will get the job gone. look at the most of the playoffs games the yankees had in recent years during the championship run
