Pull the trigger man.
Pujols > Konerko
Dice K < Oswalt, but only slighty
Rivera> Gordon
This move will allow you to use Pujols as your 1b, and puts Gonzalez as your other full time util guy along with Bay.
Also a bit of advice, you may want to look into picking up Matt Capps from Pittsburgh. Insurance against Torres, who if he blows another save could lose his job.
You might also want to consider moving someone for a real 3b man.

Mariano Rivera is not doing well right now. His ERA (as of today) is over 12 and he only pitched 1/3 of an inning against the Red Sox today and he left with the bases loaded. He hasnt been getting any save opportunities lately, so I wouldnt take him if i were you. Besides, you really dont need another closer.
You should take Mariano Rivera and Tom Gordon off the trade. See if the other person will still take the deal. Your would still be in pretty good shape (Konerko is still pretty good) if the other person doesnt accept the deal.

Pujols and Rivera are off to slow starts but that will change and the Saves Runs Scored, HR's and RBI's will follow and Dice K has the upside and even if he stinks ERA wise he will get wins with that lineup.
Oswalt is great but how many can he win for Houston. I love Konerko (I'm a White Sox Fan) but come on...On my Fantasy Team I want Pujols. Rivera for Gordon...It's only for one category Saves in Most Leagues. Over the long haul it's Rivera. Both are old.
This is a no brainer and absolute no brainer. Take it before the fool rescinds it.

Do it now. Pujols is an offensive machine who will be fine this year. Mo Rivera will likely revert back toward his career form. Dice-K will be good, and he should get more wins than Oswalt since the Red Sox offense is very good. Gordon and Konerko have been only average so far this season. Now is the time to pick up arguably the best player in baseball in Albert Pujols!

don't do it. you are giving up to much just for pujols. dice k still hasn't proved anything yet and rivera is straight sucking right now. and tom gordon is a few pitches away from being replaced by meyers. you should be fine with the team you have right now. Gonzalez is on pace to break through this year. the only weak part of your team right now is your relief pitchers and rivera wouldn't help you out right now.

Do this in a heartbeat you won't regret it!
Also Gordon isn't guarnteed the job security that Rivera has.... If Gordon falters look for Ryan Madson to take his slot...

I take it.
Pujols instead of a platoon frees up a roster spot.
All other players are basically a net wash.

I will assume that the person you are trading with has been sniffing glue for the past week or so, because nobody and I mean nobody in their right mind would make that trade.
