The back wheel on my bike has popped/punctured. I need to know a way to fix it without buying a new wheel. If there is no way then I might as well buy a new wheel. Also, I need to know a good way of finding the hole in the wheel, because I can't seem to find it. Oh and my wheel size is 24" in case you need that info.

Is he saying he has naturally high testosterone levels (more than double the test minmum level) or that it is a French conspiracy to rob him of the title. Unless someone swicthed the vials I don't see how tester incompetence could have been the factor since he failed two seperate tests.

(I know:multi-questions in one, but I think the answers are related.) Is there a standard rule for direction of rotation of the point rider in a paceline, i.e. does he break out left or right before allowing the line to pass him? It must depend on the right-of-way law (UK style, left hand vs. US style right hand rights-of-way). And what is the standard English word to warn the line that you are relinquishing the point position? "Gimme a break!!" seems too wordy.
Likewise, when riding abreast on a (usually low traffic) two- lane road and being overtaken by a car, should the outside rider brake and drift back behind his buddy, or should the outside rider accelerate while the inside rider brakes? This assumes that the car can't be trusted to pull out to pass both riders (never trust a driver you can't look in the eye!).
Thanks for your collective insight, YA listers.

When a buddy of mine installed it, he made it sound like it was pretty unique, and therefore I cant tell why it is?? Maybe he was just puffing... in any event, with respect to bike racks, isnt the only thing that is most important is that the receiver-hitch match up at 2"? Thank you

I recently got into mountain biking and am a little unsure of exactly how i'm supposed to clean my bike. I took my bike on a trail today with lots of loose dirt. My chain and front derailer are now covered with fine particles of sand/dirt. What is the best way to clean my chain and derailer? Do i need to lubricate them after cleaning?

There is a wide array of prices at my local bike shop. While I realize that the $80 Walmart bikes are low quality and not worth the cost, I've found decent looking bikes for about $500 at my local shop. Is there a noticeable increase in quality from the $500 bikes to a $3000 or $4000 bike, and for the casual rider is it worth the cost?

It's my understanding that Bike to Work day this Friday, May 18. It might actually be this whole week - is there an official website?

For anyone participating, do you have any tips for how I might bike to work and then clean up so I don't sweat and stink up the work place?

Bike to Work day/week is a noble endeavor, I want people to be impressed - not holding their noses! :) Thanks!
