When a buddy of mine installed it, he made it sound like it was pretty unique, and therefore I cant tell why it is?? Maybe he was just puffing... in any event, with respect to bike racks, isnt the only thing that is most important is that the receiver-hitch match up at 2"? Thank you

You are correct. Any commercial bike rack, made for a 2" receiver will work.
One consideration you may have, does your Jeep have a spare tire mounted on tailgate. If so, make sure you have enough room.
Check with any reputable bike shop or sporting goods store and they will help you out.
