okay i am 13 years old and i am looking into buying a 2007 model australian diamondback joker (i live in australia) and i need some details on it from anyone who has had one , has one, knows someone with one etc. i have heard that it is very heavy..i am reasonably strong for my age will i be able to hold it up? do i get my moneys worth, it is $400Australian dollars. thanks

hi!

i think at your age, just buy a normal mountain bike especially if this is your first one
get a cheaper one and get your skills ready

maybe like when you are 16, you can get a real good bike
and become a mountain biker

as for the details, i'd recommend you to go to the bike shop and find out
the answers there are more reliable.

I don't recommend buying any Diamondback or Raleigh bike
check out KHS, Trek, Specialized, or Giant
all have better bikes in your price range

I would stay away. Their quality has really declined since they began to sell bikes in the big box stores like Walmart or Dick's. Go to a local bike shop and see what they have to offer. You will get a better bike and better service in the long run. I like Trek, Specialized, Giant.

and also the more you ride the bike the lighter it will become to you.
