Anyone out there know who made Holyfield's entrance music in his first fight with Tyson? I think the song was called Victory but i'm not sure who made it. My girl wants to find out so she can get it. I told her it's a longshot that we'll get an answer on here, but i told her i would put it out there and see.

(www.wikipedia.org reports) On September 18, 2006, various boxing web sites, including SecondsOut, have reported that Hopkins is considering a heavyweight title fight with Oleg Maskaev in June 2007. Hopkins has begun initial consultations with Mackie Shilstone, the revered sports fitness expert, to determine whether or not it would be feasible for Hopkins to build a heavyweight physique capable of competing with the much larger Maskaev.

Boxrec.com Says he is fighting an unknown fighter on July 14th 2007... Is Bernard Hopkins REALLY going to challenge for the WBC heavyweight title? If so, can he POSSIBLY beat the guy who KOed Hasim Rahman twice? If Maskaev has a 1 rd KO loss to McCall, a 2 rd KO loss to "Goofy" Whitaker, a 4 rd KO loss to Kirk Johnson, as well as 2 other KO losses, can Bernard pull it off? Should he try?

just a question....i'm 5'4''...i was jsut wondering how to beat someone that is 6'4"...i'm really athletic and strong..i am the starting tailback on my football team..i am also a state powerlifter and i also box on occasion.....but just because i am strong and fast doesn't make me a good fighter...i just want to know how to beat someone with more reach than myself...

Nowadays when people get mad, the sue each other. But remember back when they used to just take it outside? In a fight, who would you bet on, Rosie ODonnell or trump, and why.

I've just started boxing at amateur level and am worried about my fighting style; I'm slightly built, 160 lbs and 5'10" (which I think makes me a middleweight?????). The thing is I have only started boxing as a result of several streetfights, and have as such developed a very 'toe-to-toe' style...I prefer to stand and trade punches rather than dart around on tip-toes, I'm all bullishness and no dexterity.

One of the older guys at the club says I fight like a professional heavyweight, not an amateur middleweight (?)- what he calls a 'slugger'.

Is this a bad thing fighting at amateur level in the lighter weights? Is this style completely at odds with boxing at this weight/ level?

Should I stick with it, constantly aiming for KOs and big haymakers, or do I need to alter my apporach?

Thanks for your help.
