Im English and my favourite fighter is Ricky Hatton, i follow him everywhere to watch his fights including Boston against Collazo and to Vegas in a couple of weeks to watch the fight against Urango, this question is hard to answer though as i believe Pacquiao is the best pound for pound fighter in the world today and he definitely punchs well above his weight and at some point will definitely move up if only to get a challenge, I think Rickys saving grace is that he is the hadest hitting Light-Welter out there and he is someone who can match the Pacmans intensity and ferocity, this fight would be an absolute war while it lasted, if Pacman could carry the same power up with him through the weights then i think the Pacman would win a close fight, if he doesnt i think Hatton stops him probably with Body shots as i think he would be carrying that much extra weight that he would be wore down by constant pressure to the body which is Hattons speciality.

Hatton would destroy him easily, there is just too much difference in size, Manny could not take his power shots. I was an amateur boxer in the military and the one thing I noticed is the difference in punching power of people just one weight class above me, two weight classes felt like getting hit with rubber mallets. Pacman is the best fighter in his division, on of the greatest of all time but to move up to 147 would be suicide.
