I would say la motta. Lamotta beat sugar ray robinson, so he could definatly beat roy jones.

That's what Robinson did. You will NEVER NEVER see that again in any age of boxing. That's what truly made the boxers of that generation still the best ever.

If Jones and Lamotta fought 3 times, I say Jones would win 2 of them. He'd be fighting backwards for 15 rounds (unlike today's 12) and upsetting the crowd, but he would get the decisions.

La Motta would kick Roy Jones up and down the canvas! He was way way way too tough! Jones could hit him all day long and cause no problem.

Jones Jr. Too skilled and too fast with feet and hands for LaMotta to catch. Roy by a UD or late round TKO.
