Maskaev seems to have only lost to the bigger heavyweights, so could prove to be troublesome for Hopkins, but Hopkins isn't stupid and has sought advice from Mackie Shilstone to see if he'd be able to make a decent heavyweight by June. If it turns out he won't...then I'm pretty sure he won't go ahead with it. He does seem adamant of taking a heavyweight title back to the USA though!
I think Calzaghe would be the more sensible option and as much as I like Joe (being Welsh and all!) I wouldn't like to say what the outcome would be...

Maskaev has the least amount of talent of the Russian Heavyweights, he struggled against a mediocre heavyweight in Hasim Rahman until knocking him out in the last round. Hopkins is extremely skilled and should be able to easily outbox Maskaev the question is that because of his age will he have the strength and stamina to keep a fast enough pace to keep Maskaev off balance. If Hopkins slows down to where Maskaev can catch him it could be lights out for the executionar.

Frazier vs Tyson, if Frazier gets previous the 5th rd, he wins. to plenty heart and determination for Tyson. As Ali stated Frazier is relatively confusing to hit with a clean shot! His head became continually shifting yet he became Ko'd with the aid of Foreman and Tyson had comparable potential with extra speed. Trinidad at this element has carried out extra and is extra of a shown fighter. Monzon! he's interior the precise 2 or 3 interior the middleweight branch! BHop is a step under that. Leonard, no question! He owns wins against Hagler, Hearns, Duran and Benitez. Floyd in basic terms owns a win over an older De la Hoya. i'm a large fan of RJJ yet SRR became the perfect P4P ever. in case you do no longer comprehend that get videos of the guy and get an training. 133-a million in his top years!!!! i like Pryor yet Arguello became attending to him in that 1st combat until the "magic bottle" incident. Chavez became extra suitable than Arguello. i will take Chavez in a thrilling brawl! Camacho wasn't in Duran's league!!

He should not fight any of the Russian champions this would be a poor career move and dangerous. He should fight at a lower weight and still make a good pay day. Excellent question.

I think it may be Joe Calzaghe, even though he's talking about a trip to the Heavyweight division and taking on Oleg Maskaev.

i respect b-hop but he should stay retired.hop is great but you can't beat father time,if he does fight, his opponent will be of name but carefully selected. he will go to the hall-of-fame but he is making a mistake.
