Why does it seem like individual March Madness brackets on Yahoo are always the last to reflect results? The first round games ended last night, and many brackets still do not reflect the result. Seems like a very screwy way for Yahoo to do this. Why wouldn't they program the pages to just update automatically?

5 total upsets (lower seed winning) and that includes 3- 9 seeds winning over the 8 seed. I've been filling out a bracket for a number of years now and can't remember a year with so few upsets.

I would have to say the team that has surprised me the most has to be VCU and the way they played against Duke. Great composure and did not panic.

Nash has won 2 MVP awards and has taken an average achieving team into a top tier team in the L. he has helped elevate players into stars and yet people still complain that he doesnt deserve the awards he has received.

Nash isnt the offensive machine that most MVP players are. Nash is showing that you dont have to be a big time scorer to be a winner. he is showing that by making players better, you help get wins on the board. for that reason he is the MVP.

Since Nash joined the suns in 04-05 season:
Amare - 04-05: all nba 2nd team. only player to be in the top 10 for points and FG%. 05-06: injured. 06-07 All star for the first time
Marion - 04-05: only player to be in the top 25 for points, rebounds, steals, blocks and minutes. second player ever to be in the top 5 in rebounding and steals. 05-06: career high averages in points, rebounds, blocks, double doubles, and FG%. only player ranked in the top 20 for rebounds, steals, points, blocks, steals and minutes.

thank u Nash!!

My losses are
Gt over UNLV
Villanova over Kentucky
Holy Cross over S.Ilinois
Duke over VCU
Gonzaga over Indiana
BYU over Xavier

I picked those teams and lost but I had none of them going to the sweet sixteen this round. Should I give up?

Ok, 1st off, everybody is making this whole MVP thing out to be way too dependent on the game Wed. night. I mean come on, yeah the Suns won but it took them double overtime to do while the Mavs have already beaten them TWICE this year. Next, plain and simple, Dirk is the hands down MVP of the league. Why? Who can gaurd him? Nobody. The guy has centers, guards, and forwards that try to gaurd him and nobody can stop him. He also doesnt handle the ball as much as Nash either which is the only reason Nash has the upper hand, he makes the decisions so therefore he can do a lot more. Dirk has to rely on somebody to get him the ball. And where is the ball in the 4th quarter of a game? Dirks hands. And on the Suns side? Amare's hands. Anybody happen to watch the Mavs vs. Celtics? I think Dirk had over 20 points in the 4th quarter alone to bring the game back into the Mavs hands. So I think you everybody should get off Nash's jock, without his teamates, he is NOTHING!

VCU busted my bracket all up. I hadn't seen them play this season until watching them play Duke. If you watched that game, those kids brought so much energy, heart, and effort against Duke, I'm finding myself wanting to cheer for them to go far(though not likely), in this years tourney. Anyone else got this new found respect for them?
